Scam Warning: Fake Traders Impersonating Day1x

We’ve recently been made aware of a fraudulent investment scam involving an individual calling himself Benjamin Stewart, claiming to be an Account Manager for a fake trading entity known as Traders-Matrix.

We are aware of the following alias being used during communications, although we can not guarantee they are not using other names or fake companies:

  • Name: Benjamin Stewart
  • Title: Account Manager
  • Website: https://traders-matrix.com
  • Company: Goli Group

Let us be absolutely clear:
This person and these companies have no affiliation whatsoever with Day1x.

How the Scam Works

The scam follows a now-familiar pattern designed to trick crypto investors:

  1. Fake Investment Platform: The scammer contacts potential victims online, promoting unrealistic “guaranteed” crypto investment returns through a fraudulent exchange such as Fortex Market Watch or Traders-Matrix.
  2. Confidence-Building: They fabricate dashboards showing false profits and returns to gain the victim’s trust.
  3. False Association: Once the victim is convinced, they claim to work with or through Day1x, telling investors that funds will be deposited into Day1x for “extra security” or “better rates.”
  4. Redirection of Funds: The scammer then directs funds to a personal Revolut or other third-party account, claiming it’s connected to Day1x.
  5. The Trap: Once the money is sent, the scammer disappears, and the funds are lost.

Key Warning Signs

If anyone:

  • Promises guaranteed or unusually high returns,
  • Claims to be an “account manager” for Day1x,
  • Uses non-Day1x email addresses such as @goli-group.com,
  • Directs you to deposit via Revolut, Wise, or crypto wallets not connected to your Day1x account,

then you are dealing with a fraudulent actor.

Protect Yourself

Always verify any communication by emailing help@day1x.io.
Only deposit through the official Day1x app or exchange: https://exchange.day1x.io.
Never send funds to third-party or personal accounts.
Report scams immediately to both your bank and Day1x’s security team.

What We’re Doing

Day1x has:

  • Reported Benjamin Stewart, Traders-Matrix, and Goli Group to Australian and international authorities.
  • Flagged the traders-matrix.com domain as a scam site.
  • Contacted Revolut and other platforms to assist in preventing further fraud.

We encourage anyone approached by this person or similar actors to forward screenshots or correspondence to help@day1x.io so our team can take immediate action.

Stay Vigilant

Crypto scams are becoming more sophisticated so always double-check before sending money or sharing personal information.
Day1x never partners with brokers or intermediaries. If someone claims otherwise, they are lying.

Stay safe, stay skeptical, and if it sounds too good to be true, it is.
